Vice President
Orlando came on-board Salt-Capital, LLC to bring his experience in client professionalism and relationship to help others reach financial goals. He holds a holistic approach in wealth management and planning, which include, retirement planning, investment planning, protection planning, and more.
Don Koller
Senior Vice President
Don Koller brings to Salt Capital an accomplished background as a masterful CEO who is adept in the consumer products space, principally the food industry. Don’s experience comes from running multiunit retail environments, international wholesale and multi-million-dollar consumer product companies.
Cierra Nelson
Financial Analyst
Cierra is an Environmental Science major who takes on the role of a Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst for Salt Capital, LLC. Cierra has trained for the FMVA position and provides high-level support to the executive team with day-to-day operations.
Donald Doungpanya

Donald Doungpanya is a licensed principal of Salt Capital Group. He is a seasoned banker to providing and evaluating well-structured, custom financing solutions to private and public companies with over a $1B in debt and equity transaction. Prior to founding Salt Capital Group, Donald was a part of then American Express Investment and Mutual funds. He later worked as an investment advisor at Ameriprise Financial after the spinoff. Donald founded and managed an alternative investment fund, Salt Capital Alpha One, LLC, a hedge fund trading public equity index futures and commodities futures markets. Donald fused his practice and became a Vice President for an investment bank based in San Francisco. Consolidating the traditional and alternative investment and corporate finance Donald left the investment bank and relaunched Salt Capital Group. He graduated from University of California, San Diego with an Economics degree and an MBA from Webster University, Missouri.
Orlando Espino Jr.
Vice President
A former investment advisor from Morgan Stanley, Orlando brought in his financial professionalism with experience in client relationship and engagement to address their financial goals. His responsibility at Salt Capital Group involves originating, engaging, and managing successful closings for debt, equity, advisory, wealth management, and M&A transactions. Orlando has been in finance for six years; and as a former advisor for Morgan Stanley he assisted many clients in wealth management, retirement planning and consulting on appropriate investment solutions to address client needs. He holds a holistic approach in wealth management and planning, which include, retirement planning, investment planning, protection planning, tax planning, and estate planning. He holds Series 7 & 66 licenses. Orlando graduated with a Bachelors of Finance from the University of South Florida.

Highly-skilled in collaborating and mediating with senior management in Mergers & Acquisition pursuits and integrations, Don Koller has an established record of maximizing shareholder value for consumer products, consumable exports, distribution, supply chain, manufacturing, retail, and food service companies in international and domestic settings. Don Koller brings to Salt Capital an accomplished background as a masterful CEO who is adept in the consumer products space, principally the food industry. He has a history of providing impeccable leadership with successful results in turnaround, start up and restart environments. Don’s experience comes from running multiunit retail environments, international wholesale and multi-million-dollar consumer product companies.
Cierra Nelson
Financial Analyst
Cierra is an Environmental Science major who takes on the role of a Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst for Salt Capital, LLC. Alongside her academic studies, Cierra has trained for the FMVA position and has been certified through Corporate Finance Institute. She creates dynamic, structured financial models and performs analyses in order to determine the advantages of the companies received at Salt Capital. Cierra provides high-level support to the executive team with day-to-day operations. She is responsible for improvements in deal underwriting, operational efficiencies and process management by introducing and implementing best practices to Salt Capital.
